The Rams formally introduced safety Eric Weddle as a member of the team at a press conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday Cory Littleton Jersey , but questions veered away from Weddle to another member of the roster.General Manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay were both asked about the recent report that running back Todd Gurley is dealing with arthritis in his knee. Snead said nothing definitive about a diagnosis while adding there are “shades of gray of how fresh you are and what that reason is.”“I don’t know exactly, medically, when you categorize what arthritis is, but I’ve never seen a guy on the medical report or on the injury report with that,” McVay said, via the . “And I think if you just said Nickell Robey-Coleman Jersey , ‘Is there a wear and tear? Was there a pounding that that knee took?’ Absolutely. … He’s the only one that can really talk specifically about how his body feels.”Gurley missed two games at the end of the regular season with knee problems and his limited role in the final two playoff games led to questions about whether it was still an issue. The team and Gurley said it wasn’t and there’s no surgery planned, but there’s been talk of alternative therapies to get him ready for the 2019 season. All of which adds up to questions about whether the Rams can expect Gurley to be as effective going forward as he was for most of the last two seasons. McVay said the team has “to let it play itself out” and that will keep plenty of attention on Gurley’s knee as the year unfolds. For Rams fans, not surprisingly, we’re all quite confident about our team heading into the 2019 regular season:But cmon. Why shouldn’t we be? Our last game (aside from last weekend’s preseason action) was Super Bowl LIII. Honestly, I’m shocked it we didn’t hit 100%! When asked whether they were confident about their team this week, fans were offered three options: “confident” Robert Woods Jersey , “meh”, or “not confident. For the Rams, 95% went with “confident” while 5% went with “meh.” Not surprisingly, “not confident” registered at 0%.It’s the NFL. Every team’s fan base gets pumped up by the Cycle to overinflate their confidence. Washington Confident Fan Havers fans had the lowest levels of confidence of any team at 35%, but 38% of fans responded “meh.” That means just 27% said they were not confident. A reminder that 85% of Washington fans took the over on their 6.5-win over/under. Or look at the two teams with the lowest o/u: the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. Both have an o/u of just 5 wins. Only 27% of Dolphins fans took the under, and just 5% aren’t confident in the Fins! And Cardinals fans are even more hyped up; only 7% took the under Brandon Allen Jersey , and just 2% aren’t confident in the Birds after having the worst record in the NFL last year. The Cycle is unstoppable. This week’s FanPulse poll also included a question for fans of all teams asking which division champion from 2018 will not repeat in 2019.The results were pretty interesting:The Ravens and Cowboys both came in at 27%, but the Cowboys were voted just a fraction less than the Ravens not to repeat. With the Pittsburgh Steelers barely missing out on the playoffs last year and the Cleveland Browns soaking up so much hype this offseason, I can understand why so many went for the Ravens. And the Philadelphia Eagles came off their Super Bowl-winning 2017 season to go 9-7 and eke out a win in the wild card round of the playoffs only to lose to the New Orleans Saints by just six points in the divisional round. Not surprising the Cowboys were a popular pick. The Houston Texans were in third; I doubt many actually voted for them because of their offensive line (not good) but instead picked them for the strength the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars present (good).Just 4% picked the Rams. Thanks for voting this week, Seattle Seahawks fans!In the end, the Rams are good. Everyone knows we’re good.Good.Thanks for voting for those of you did, and those of you who missed out sign up so we can hear from you!
